Often when I watch recent films, I feel my gentlemanly manners and sophisticated posh ways aren't wanted by anyone in the movie which upsets me greatly. But in this film I felt the complete opposite, there was no character in this film I dream't about ripping my tie and jacket off me and destroying them whilst shouting appalling abuse at me, the characters in 1917 truly did imply they wanted a posh gentleman like me to support them, give them wise advice and look after them in the best possible way I can which made me so nostalgic for the 1910's and so proud of the First World War generation.

Recent films also tend to make me feel like I'm watching a feminine film but this film was truly masculine and made me feel very comfortable as a result of feeling manly by watching it. No character should have the right to make me feel like my ultra posh ways are lame and make me feel like a feminine idiotic weakling, 1917 and the lovely British Empire understands that perfectly and I can't thank 1917 enough for understanding this.
